I got my hands on a pair of Volkl AC 50's in length of 170.
The snow was soft but firm and was perfect for laying down some deep long tracks in the snow. I was very impressed by the quickness of the ski coming out of the turns. A few times I found myself sitting in the backseat of the skis coming out of the turn and I found that getting back up leaning forward was easy in these skis.
I found making super tight snappy turns then linking into long wide turns was very easy and smooth. And having the 84 mm under foot made hoping into some powder very easy, they float and are easy to make tight hoping turns in a few inches of powder.
I would encourage anyone looking for a fun, quick, one quiver ski to look into this ski.
